The Organtica Grow Team has released a new line of very special flower, chosen and grown with love and great passion for both the patients and the cannabis plant itself. We call this line Growers Select, and to get an idea on why these new strains are special, here is an interview by Cannagramma with the very passionate leader of our Grow Team, Miles Turner.

All of our Growers Select products are packaged in a black glass jar to prevent any unnecessary damage from light. Every bud is carefully selected, hand trimmed and hand packaged. We assure our patients that our Growers Select flower is never processed by anything other than humans. From the moment we cut down the plant to the moment it is packaged, our cannabis is carefully tended by our patient team members before it is released to patients to ensure a very premium product.

Indica Leaning Hybrid – Pain and stress relief without the big time couch lock.
Fog Hog

Fire OG = OG Kush and SFV Kush
Hell’s OG = OG Kush and Blackberry (presumed, as the genetic documentation is iffy)
Very Indica Dominant Hybrid – great for stress relief and serious pain
Flavor and Aroma is very unusual – Chemy, Earthy, Pine and Lemons
An Interview With Our Head Grower Miles Turner
CG – Tell me a little bit about each of these new strains and why they are so special.
MILES – Well two of them have already had a test release and were very popular with the patients and disappears fast. Those were Fog Hog and GMO Punch. The third one is called Velvet Skys and it is still in process and will come down in about two weeks.
CG – Why is GMO Punch a special strain and why did you choose to grow it?
MILES – GMO Punch came from a friend of Organtica. He dropped one off and it sat in a room for a while before we decided to do something with it. I was told it came from Slurricane, but that isn’t right. We already have a pretty nice line up so I was discouraged to take in any new strains when we got it, but I had to see what it could do, right? So, we took some clones and did a small test run and the plants were already getting really frosty at just a foot tall! I knew then it was really special pheno. It’s one of those strains that does really well under HPS or LED lights too. It has a great yield and the aroma and flavors are really strong. It also presents really well and has a nice terp profile. I was right to keep this one.

CG – Nice! Now tell me about the Fog Hog.
MILES – Fog Hog was a shot in the dark. I didn’t know what to expect and I didn’t have a lot of info on it either. Some were calling it Hog Fog, and some say Fog Hog. Doesn’t matter. The seeds were gifted by a patient who was looking for a chemy strain. We knocked out a few plants, came up with a few phones, numbered them 1-5. We got it down to the one we liked the most and it turned out the #5 was the way to go – our special mother to clone from. It turned out to grow really well with HPS or LED. It’s really stable, presents well, and has a really great chem aroma and taste. We needed another strain like this after dropping Pucker Factor from our line up because it was unstable. Fog Hog is a perfect replacement.

CG – What’s the story on the Velvet Skys, Miles?
MILES – The Velvet Skys is a strain I wanted to try for a while now so I purchased the seeds on my own. I wanted something purple and pink with great flavor and lots of trichomes. I didn’t have room for another new strain so I gave the seeds to one of our grow team guys with a PPL. He grew them out in his home grow and came up with a real beauty. We knew we had to go with this one. The looks are very colorful with pink stamen and purple/pink leaf on the flowers and the frost is really heavy. It’s beautiful. I thought the really strong flavor and smell was a lot like the fruity vitamins I had as a kid. This had to join our line up.
