Ever wonder what its like to try a medicated edible, (medible), that didn’t taste like weed or have a bitter after taste? So did we, so we worked it out and came up with our version of medibles that actually taste really good, through and through.

We stock many different kinds of medibles at our dispensary clinic. Our R&D team is constantly developing new recipes and products that reflect a perfect balance of flavors and ingredients that work in synergy. We strive to create products that will please the pallet and provide a medible experience that is unique and satisfying to our patients. How do we make them taste so good? Well, we always start with our cold processed concentrated cannabis oil and combine it with quality ingredients to craft our products. Cold processed oil has less of the “cannabis plant taste” that is found so often in edibles. And there is no sting or numbness as can be found with some products made with BHO. We take the long way around and don’t take short cuts to ensure we are offering the very best products available. Life is short, why settle for anything less than the best? We developed our own special recipes to enhance the flavor profiles of our concentrated cannabis oil, (CCO), rather than trying to overpower or mask the taste. When you start with a better tasting oil to begin with, you have a lot more options in controlling the flavor, texture and efficacy of the final product. Its a difference you can see, smell, taste and feel.

This must be said first and foremost about edible cannabis products… No matter how many times you’ve tried edibles, and no matter what it says on the label, our best advice is take it low and slow when you are trying a new edible. You can always take a little more but you sure can’t get off the ride once you’ve started. This is even more important if you’ve never tried edibles before. Even with a high tolerance for smoking or vaping cannabis you can find yourself in a very 0precariously high situation if you take too large a dose of edibles. Here’s why: When delta 9 THC is heated and inhaled it enters your bloodstream through your lungs in just a minute or two. When you eat THC products it travels through your gastrointestinal system to your liver where it is converted to hydroxy 11 THC which is more powerful in it’s sedation and high.

If you don’t feel the effects right away that’s normal. It can take from 30 minutes to 90 minutes for that THC to kick in. Wait! Do yourself a favor and wait the full 90 minutes before taking another dose, and make it a small one. It can feel like immediate, catastrophic impending doom if you take yourself too far over your THC limit, and then you’ll just have to wait it out. Hydroxy 11 THC also lasts much, much longer, (up to 10 or so hours). This is a bad thing if you consumed too much, but a great thing if you know your dose and want long lasting relief.
