From flower to end products, we handcraft all of our cannabis medicine with the care and attention that good medicine demands. We are patients too, and we create the quality products for our patients that we want for ourselves, our friends and our families. Patients for Patients! We take that very seriously.
All of our processing starts at the trim table. We always hand trim our cannabis flower, and our trimmers take their jobs very seriously. Trimmers are also our quality control specialists and the trim table is where it’s decided what will be sold as premium flower, what will go on to be popcorn buds, what will become prerolls and what will go to be processed into concentrates, because sometimes our premium cannabis doesn’t quite make the cut to be sold as flower to our patients. These trim department rejects may not be dense enough or big enough to our liking, but they still test well and make awesome medicine.
RSO (Rick Simpson Oil), Buddha Tears, Phoenix Tears – whatever you want to call it, we pride ourselves in offering the very best clean, concentrated, whole plant cannabis oil at the Organtica dispensary clinic. Our cannabis strains have been carefully selected for their cannabinoid content, terpenes, flavor, aroma and efficacy. We take these beautiful strains and make our CCO (Concentrated Cannabis Oil) using a cold processed, quick wash method that ensures a superior product, rich in terpenes, cannabinoids and very, very little fats, lipids or chlorophyll. Our CCO actually tastes good, is never bitter and always extremely potent. It is processed very carefully and consistently to give our patients the very best whole plant cannabis oil possible, each and every time.
Organtica CCO is in constant production because while we sell it in raw form for patients, we also use it to make many of our delectable Organtica Medibles as well as our effective cannabis capsules and tinctures. Organtica’s CCO is also sold as a stand alone product in full grams (approximately 800mg THC or higher), and half grams (approximately 400mg THC or higher), increments. This is a great product for patients who want to make their own caps and edibles.
Tinctures are a real nice solution for many patients. They are easy to use, easy to dose and can be used discreetly almost anywhere. Tinctures are administered sublingually, (drops under the tongue), where you hold there for a few minutes. This way the THC immediately enters your bloodstream through the tissue under your tongue, in contrast to through your lungs, (as with smoking/vaping) or your liver with edibles. An additional bonus is that while they may be a bit slower that vaping or smoking, this method is fairly quick and you may feel effects within 5 or 10 minutes. You can micro dose throughout the day or use a large dose to get you through your sleep cycle.
At Organtica we have several different formulas of tinctures for just about any application. THC Sativa and and non-psychoactive THCa tinctures are great for daytime use. THC Indica is great to relax or get to sleep, and the CBD tincture (with a hint of THC) is great for anytime. Some folks don’t really want to smoke or vape their medicine. Some would rather not consume edibles either, because of diet restrictions or food preferences. There are also folks who have never experienced cannabis or the marijuana culture and are afraid to experience the high. If one of these scenarios resembles you, CCO CannaCaps may be the solution. We carry a few different kinds of canna caps in varying strengths. We will also make custom/special order CCO Cannacaps to meet the specific need of any patient. We just need a few days to create your special dose. All of our Cannacaps have a coconut oil base and are made with our own CCO (Concentrated Cannabis Oil.
Beeswax Salve
We have developed an awesome cannabis salve that can be used to relax muscles, reduce inflammation and can help to reduce nerve pain. This salve is made from all natural ingredients and is very soothing and safe. It’s a blend of our own CCO (concentrated cannabis oil), CBD oil, medicinally beneficial essential oils and camomile extract, suspended in a mix of Vitamin E oil, Beeswax and Extra Virgin Coconut Oil. Just rub into your skin on the affected area and feel the pain subside. It is absorbed quickly and makes your skin soft too.
Bath ORBS and Crystals
Everyone else calls then Bath Bombs, but we prefer to call them Orbs, (short for Overtly Relaxing Bath Salts) because, well, it sounds so much better than bombs, right? Pop our Orbs into a hot bath and let the magic begin. The hot water will open your pores to receive the Orbs’ beneficial essential oils and cannabinoids to bring deep relaxation and pain relief. Most patients won’t feel high when using Orbs, but if you do not have any tolerance for THC you might just feel a little buzz. Our Bath Crystals are made with the same ingredients as the ORBS, but are in loose crystal form.
Suppositories
Suppositories are a very effective way to medicate for a large range of ailments from cancer to menstrual cramps and bowel disorders. They are a great way to medicate without smoking, vaping or eating your cannabis. With medicated suppositories the head high is minimal but the absorption rate is near 80% so if you need a large dose, this is the way to go.

Moon Rocks
They aren’t from the moon, but they are out of this world. Introduced 4/20/2017, our Rosin Moon Rocks were a huge hit (no pun intended) so, we brought them into the regular Organtica lineup. And now, Organtica has become Albuquerque’s go-to place for fabulous Moon Rocks.
What is an Organtica Rosin Moon Rock and how do we make them? First, we hand-pick a 1/2 gram premium grade bud and gently wrap it with a 1/4 gram of our clean, solvent-less rosin. Then we dust it with a 1/4 gram of kief. When you do the math Organtica Rosin Moon Rocks add up to one full gram of awesome medicine comprised of three premium product for only $30.
How do you smoke Rosin Moon Rocks? The most common way is to break off a small piece of rock and toss it in a bowl/pipe/bong/spoon, whatever, and smoke it. Organtica’s Rosin Moon Rocks are potent, tasty, and a small chunk will go a long, long way. Stop by the Organtica dispensary clinic and pick up a Rosin Moon Rock, you’ll be glad you did. Rosin
Fresh pressed, terpene rich, solventless rosin is as tasty as it is strong. Ranging in concentration from 65% THC to 90% THC, our rosin is free of any solvents and is quite exceptional in taste and efficacy. How to we make our rosin at Organtica? It’s an arduous process.
We are pretty particular about how we trim our flowers. It’s always done by hand and we are careful to remove most all leaf material to give our patients the best possible smooth smoking buds. But it pains us to see all those sugary leaves fall into the trim tray. That trim is damn good medicine too, so we wash it in a special machine that separates the trichomes from the plant matter. And then we wash it again. And again. The result is exceptionally clean trichomes called bubble hash. It looks like kief, but is usually lighter in color since it harbors no plant material.
The bubble hash is dried for several days and then its squished in a low heat press. The process is labor intensive, but it is all worth it. Our Squish Team is proud of the fruits of their labor, and rightfully so. Their results are amber in color and the clean taste is very rewarding.
We can barely keep up with the demand because our solventless rosin is that good. And although our above mentioned method is always our first go to, we don’t ever want to run out of rosin at the clinic so sometime we will make a quick batch from the trichomes we collect from trimming. This rosin is every bit as potent and flavorful as the paler bubble hash rosin, but is usually darker in color and may have a speck or two of plant matter, despite several cleanings. No worries though, because no matter which method we use the result is stunning potent medicine. We got you. Dabs ahoy!
Why Rosin? Why is it better than concentrates like wax and shatter? Well, some people don’t think rosin is better than BHO and Co2 products like wax and shatter, but we beg to differ for a few reasons. Our Rosin is as organic as our flowers and there is no chance at all of residual solvents left over from processing to be lingering in the final product. With Rosin, the terpenes are preserved in full, giving the best possible flavor. Terpenes are often added to BHO and Co2 extracted products because the plant’s terpenes are somewhat or wholly stripped out in those processes. Even though they try to duplicate the flavor of the strains with added terps, they add back terpenes that were derived from plants other than cannabis. We feel that the entourage effect of ALL the cannabis constituents as is will result in the best medicine and is what nature intended.
Kief
We hand kief all of our trim in the trim room. Using two part trimming trays with a fine mesh screen in the bottom of the top tray, all of the trichomes that fall from the flowers collects in the bottom tray. When the flowers are finished being trimmed, we then reduce the trimmed leaves and tiny buds that are full of trichomes but to small to sell as flower, by rubbing them between our gloved hand to help release the remaining trichomes. The fine trim is then gently rubbed across the screen to release more trichomes. What is left of the trim is bagged and goes to the Rosin makers to wash and extract as bubble hash for Rosin production, because believe it or not, there are still some mighyt fine trichomes left in the processed trim. This kief may still contain a small amount of plant matter, so at this point it may be pressed for hash, used to coat MoonRocks, or possibly go into the bubble hash machine for further processing.
C02 Extracted Cartomizers and Our Rosin Launchers
Co2 Concentrate Cartomizers
A cartomizer is the top of a vape pen that contain the medicated oil and the mouthpiece. It is attached to a battery that provides the heat necessary to create a breathable vapor. There are a lot of vapable concentrate products on the market for medical cannabis users, and some are made by utilizing butane or propane to extract the cannabinoids from the plant material. We prefer the C02 (carbon dioxide) extraction method because we feel it’s the safest for patients, especially those patients with autoimmune disorders who may be triggered by a poorly executed extraction from butane or propane, even though these chemicals are supposed to be completely purged in the process. We partner with Pharmers Quality Concentrates, Bloom and Mountain Top Extracts to bring our patients what we feel are the cleanest, safest vapable concentrates. Cannabis, plant or fruit derived terpenes are added to enhance flavor and medicinal effects. Our cartomizers are filled with pure Co2 extracted oils containing no fillers like MCT (Medium Chain Triglycerides like coconut oil), Vegetable Glycerin or Propylene Glycol.
